Parlatoria scale females and young settled stages |

Parlatoria pittospori is an occasional pest of stonefruits where pine trees are used for shelter or are near orchards. Wind-blown crawlers from the pines settle on the fruit trees and may infect the fruit. Parlatoria scale is also known as mauve pittosporum scale.
