Pupae of Eupsenella sp., a bethylid parasitoid wasp of leafrollers

Several of these bethylid wasps are usually produced from a single leafroller caterpillar. The wasp pupae are initially pale buff in colour but they darken to become black just before emergence. Some Eupsenella spp. produce cocoons.
