Diadegma spp. are parasitic wasps (family Ichneumonidae) which attack leafroller caterpillars. A single wasp is produced from a single caterpillar. The head capsule and remains of the leafroller caterpillar are just above the cocoon on the left, and the leafroller webbing is clearly visible on the right..
