Oystershell scale - Crawler

These tiny crawlers are dispersing over the bark of the host tree. They may also be picked up by wind and carried considerable distance. The short legs beneath the body are not visible but the prominent antenae can be clearly seen. Crawlers can move onto the fruit causing damage and quarantine problems.
