Greenheaded leafroller, Exotic host plants - occasional

These plant families contain plants on which caterpillars of greenheaded leafroller have been occasionally found. Many of these plants have been sampled for leafrollers only infrequently and, in most cases, it is not known whether greenheaded leafroller can complete its life cycle on these plants. The caterpillars of the two Planotortrix species cannot be separated in the field. It is not known, therefore, whether they occur equally frequently on the host plants shown in the table, or whether there are different host plant preferences of the two species. In addition to recent species-specific records, analysis of past records in relation to the known distribution of the two species has been done to give the colour coded information in the table. Plant species in black text refer to both species of greenheaded leafroller. Where only one species was likely to be present in the area sampled, the text is colour coded as follows:
