Rhyzobius spp. ladybirds, probable predators of woolly apple aphid

Research in Australia has shown that a species of Rhyzobius feeds on woolly apple aphid. It is, therefore, probable that the adults and larvae of one or more of the Rhyzobius species present in New Zealand also feed on this pest.
