Froggatt's apple leafhopper cultural control

No cultural control methods have been devised for Froggatt's apple leafhopper. Early cropping apple varieties have the advantage that their fruit is harvested before the leafhopper reaches the peak populations of its second generation. This reduces the risk of fruit contamination with honeydew and sooty mould.
