Leaf tissue eaten by grass grub beetle

  The adult beetles of grass grub disperse from pasture into nearby orchards in spring where they may feed on fruits, shoots, stems, leaves, and flower clusters. The fruit damage results in distortion and russetting of the mature fruit at harvest.
