go back Trichogrammatid adults - minute parasitoids of insect eggs

The trichogrammatid wasps in the first row (three left pictures) were earlier observed parasitising noctuid eggs, or had emerged from a noctuid egg batch (right). Trichogrammatids parasitise the eggs of many insects, including codling moth, leafrollers, and noctuids. The second row of pictures shows Trichogrammatoidea bactrae from leafroller eggs.
