Sejanus albisignata feeds on a variety of soft bodied insects and mites, including European red mite, codling moth eggs and young caterpillars, and probably apple leafcurling midge larvae. Nesothrips propinquus is thought to be a plant-feeding thrips but is seen infrequently and does no economic damage. The predatory thrips, Haplothrips kurdjumovi, feeds on European red mite. Cardiastethus sp. and Oechalia schellenbergii are predatory bugs sometimes seen in orchards.
